EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT

Piaza

Meet Paiza Mata

A man of little words, Paiza (Humberto) describes himself as nothing special. However, Mr. Simon Trimco’s EVP, describes

Paiza as a man of “High Standards”. Paiza is a valued employee of Trimco that has been with the company for 40 years.

He came to the company on the request of a friend that was helping the new immigrant find a job. Even with no hardware experience, Paiza joined the machine shop as a helper, and quickly proved how he is always willing to help. After a few years of watching and learning, Paiza began making a lasting impact on the industry. From helping to improve products like coordinators and flush bolts He quickly started solving industry issues and developing parts like the Anti-Vandal pulls and the ADA pocket door pulls (1069 series).

Not only has Paiza been an instrumental part of the Trimco team, his family also works for the company, making it a true family affair! When asked how he “Lives the T”, Paiza responded that he takes a little bit from each area, that its best to have some of each and not just focus on one attribute. His advice for any young employee weather in the industry or other fields is “Start easy and simple, work your way up learning all you can, even if you “already know it all”
